Hello there! My name is Kirstie Martinka, and I am currently attending Western Technical College in La Crosse, Wisconsin to complete the Web & Software Development program.
Since I was a junior in high school, I have been employed in the financial industry, either as a teller or loan processor, but it just felt as if more opportunities awaited me.
I was inspired by my husband to pursue programming, which is a passion we now both share.
With the combination of logic and creativity, there is so much that can be done in the world of programming, and I am excited expand my talents and knowledge!
I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and daughter, whether that be cooking meals together or snuggling on the couch watching classic Disney movies.
Being an introvert, I tend to love being in the comfort of my home, which means many of my hobbies consist of things that I don't need to leave the house for.
Though I love my time indoors, I also appreciate the comforts that nature can provide.
A good book to read, a blanket laid out in a lush patch of grass, and the sun beaming through the shade of the tree above is the best combination for a peaceful day.
